The Joie Roomie Glide crib is a bedside crib which allows parents to stay with their infant while ensuring they are sleeping safely. Its smooth gliding motion helps to soothe your baby to sleep, and its ingenuous features ensure that you can keep an eye on them without leaving your bed.
The side panel that slides out of the cot can be lifted and lowered with a simple pressing of a button. This makes it easy to reach inside and soothe a baby at night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that let it fit the mattress of almost every size bed. Additionally, it includes adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the right height.
The cot is cushioned, features mesh sides for better ventilation, and its mattress is made from high-density foam for added protection. It's also washable which means you can keep the crib clean. It includes a fitted mattress sheet that is suitable for the crib.
Contrary to other cribs that are bedside, the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. It can be used as a stand-alone crib if it isn't attached to the bed. It is packed with amazing features that were designed with baby and parent bonding in mind.
One thing to bear in mind is that although this crib is perfect for infants, it will not last long once your little one turns six months old, so you will need to invest in a bigger cot. However, overall Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she was particularly impressed by its elegant design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was an affordable price for a cot with such advanced features. She also liked how it was positioned in the bedroom, and believed that its grey colour is a good fit for modern homes. However, she did point out that it's not a great idea to rock a young baby as it could set the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It comes with a drop-side rail that can be easily adjusted to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and also for travel.
We love that it's made of soft fabrics with mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It comes in charcoal or oak and a variety of melange fabrics that blend with a variety of styles. Anna found it solid and secure when it was attached to her bed, with the legs firmly snapping into place and the zips secure to ensure safety for babies. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number available if you encounter any problems.
The CoZee crib has all the features you would expect from a crib for your bedside, including the ability to connect it to your bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. In addition it has an inclines feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It can also be washed in the machine and is a must for all the dribbles and snot that can be found in a newborn baby!
If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months of their life when they're learning to sleep independently, the CoZee is a great choice as it can also be used as a standalone cot, changing table and toddler bed. It can also be transformed into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. It isn't able to feed your baby, or magically make them sleep, it will rock them and send them off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's most expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It's designed as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable from birth up to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the previous model, with 11 different height settings as well as legs that retract to fit underneath any bed.

It's a co-sleeping crib that is securely attached to your bed and can be turned into a chic cot when your baby is old enough. Perfect for nighttime feedings and enhancing the bond you have with your new born.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other cribs. Its dual-view mesh side panels and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline can help to reduce colic and reflux and colic, while the zip-down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby during the night.
The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to get started. It took us an hour to complete and was fairly straightforward. The only drawback was the absence of written captions on a few images, which made it difficult to understand certain steps.
